Transport companies use dozens of monitoring systems and hundreds of tracker models, each transmitting telemetry in its own format.
This creates difficulties in consolidating data—combining it previously required setting up relays, replacing equipment, or using intermediate gateways.
Solution
TAI Capital engineers implemented a telematics data aggregation service based on the Flespi platform, an innovative backend solution developed by Gurtam.
Flespi allows you to collect, transform, and transmit data from any IoT device and navigation equipment into a single format, ensuring instant integration with external systems or logistics platforms.
How it works
1. Data collection
- A unified structure and telemetry sending protocol are created for all data providers.
- Data streams from different devices are standardized using a form developed by TAI Capital engineers.
- Data that does not comply with the protocol is automatically rejected, ensuring high quality of the incoming stream.
2. Processing on the Flespi side
- All calculations occur on the Flespi side, not on the client side.
- The system combines streams from various sources, adds calculation parameters and events, and then transmits the completed, processed data to the client in real time.
- This approach reduces the load on client systems tenfold and speeds up integration.
3. Integration with external services
- A unique URL channel is created for each project, through which the client receives the required data array without complex authorization or API calls.
- Data can be transmitted to Wialon, ERP, or corporate applications.
- Streams contain complete information on mileage, fuel consumption, events, and equipment parameters, making it possible, for example, to compare actual mileage with that indicated in waybills.
Support and CRM
TAI Capital uses its own CRM system. Users can create tickets, track task completion, and view the entire change history in real time. At any time, managers can see who created and processed a task, as well as who made changes to the system. This ensures transparent communication between the client and technical support, speeding up the resolution of requests.
Implementation Examples
Case 1 — International Construction Company
The client is a large construction materials manufacturer, comprising over 30 companies, each using its own monitoring system and telematics equipment from different manufacturers.
The goal was to create a unified system for monitoring driving quality and consolidating data from all carriers.
TAI Capital engineers implemented the solution based on the Flespi platform, which integrated telemetry from various systems into a single stream.
For data analysis, a user interface was developed with visualization of metrics—interactive graphs, dashboards, and driver ratings based on driving quality.
This solution allowed the client to obtain unified data without replacing equipment or placing an additional burden on internal systems.
Case 2 — TaxiLogic Taxi Fleet Management Service
In 2021, TAI Capital introduced its own platform, TaxiLogic, powered by Flespi.
The service consolidates telemetry data from in-vehicle navigation terminals and automates taxi fleet management.
The system analyzes telemetry in real time, monitors vehicle condition, tracks trips, and generates analytical reports.
TaxiLogic is powered by over 150 robots and a messaging notification system.
Results
- Consolidation of data from any monitoring systems in a single interface.
- Reduced load on the client’s IT infrastructure.
- Simple integration with external systems.
- Fully automated analytics and support.
- A scalable solution applicable to logistics, quarries, taxi companies, and corporate fleets.
